Life
You can find me in the Capitol Hill neighbourhood of Seattle,
Washington. I enjoy walking and sitting in Cal Anderson park and
photographing the many oddly shaped light fixtures. I live with my
partner Xinrui Chen, a talented and
multi-faceted artist turned programmer, and our tuxedo cat Cleo.
Music
I play guitar and sing in a garage punk band,
John Honda, previously created
electronic music under my given name, and have experimented around with
different forms of sound art installations.
Photography
A recent hobby of mine. I don't so much collect memories with photos as I
enjoy capturing certain aesthetically pleasing angles or scenes around my

Design
As my band has begun playing more and more shows, posters advertising
those shows needed to be created. Xinrui has helped with quite a few but
I've been picking up the skill as well as needed. View a smattering of

Coding
I put together this site although my main focus isn't in the domain of
web-tech. I enjoy TUIs and weird tools built in C and C++. Audio
programming has become a recent passion and I'm working on a few projects
in the JUCE framework. See my current and past projects on my github
